If we need to have a difficult conversation (namely with a spouse), shall we postpone having it during Ramadan? My concern is that to have it during–even in the night–emotions may be high and feelings hurt, and I do not want either of us to break the fast. However, I worry that waiting to have this difficult discussion after Ramadan will do a disservice because we’ve just gained the benefit of this blessed month and now the conversation may bring about fitna. Please advise.
