This totally made my day and put a big smile on my face
As I walked out of the elevator of our office building with my husband after a long day at work, I reflected on the back to back marriage counseling sessions I had that day. I sighed knowing I did my absolute best with Allah’s help.
Suddenly, the security guard of our building greeted me enthusiastically and said, “You’re doing a great job! ”
I was a little surprised and said, “Thanks!” I wasn’t sure what he was referring to.
He said, “I see the couples who come see you walk in the building separately, not talking, upset or depressed, then they return from your session holding hands and giggling!”
He energetically said,”Whatever you’re doing is working!”
I was beaming with the satisfaction that the transformation the couple experienced in my office was visible to our security guard.
My husband was smiling from ear to ear hearing this.
My heart was content knowing that I was able to make a difference mashaAllah tabarakAllah.
He went on to say,”I notice this every day and it’s remarkable!”
