As I was sitting in this gorgeous botanical garden with my husband this past Sunday, I became mesmerized with watching the leaves slowly fall down from the trees. I recalled the verse in the Quran:
“Not a leaf falls but that He knows it.” 6:59
I was baffled at the thought of all those leaves falling from just one tree.
How about the leaves from the trees in this whole garden, in this city, in this country and in all other countries across the earth?
It’s truly mind boggling that Allah knows about every single leaf that falls – ANYWHERE!
Now, if Allah knows about every leaf that falls, how well does He know about us?
Our inner struggles?
Our deepest dreams?
Our heartfelt duas?
Be comforted that He is well aware of all our conditions and He is providing us with that which is best!
It’s not that He hasn’t heard your duas, but He’s preparing you for more than you can imagine.
Feel rest assured that in the same way that He knows about each leaf that falls, He knows what’s in your heart.
What are your reflections on this verse?

Such a beautiful thought process.
This what Allah (SWT) told us to do.
To ponder over looking at his creations.
This beautiful creations most of them for us human beings, somethings useful for us and something just there to add beauty.
When look at my plant collection, whenever I see new leaves growing, my plants branching or giving beautiful flowers or sweet fruits, it makes me ponder and I say nothing but “SubhanAllah, for these creations”
I call my kids and show them the beautiful colors and shapes of these leaves and flowers and tell them to say “Ma’Shaa’Allah “.
As I keep praising Allah (SWT) along with them.
My kids may not understand the depth of it yet but they certainly will once they mature spiritually In’Shaa’Allah.
Surayya Yasmeen That’s wonderful that you share your excitement for the creations of Allah with your kids.
