Assalamoalaikum…when I feel they have lied ,I try to sit with them and ask them why did they feel the need to do it.i tell them not to be afraid of admitting anything to me good or bad.i will appreciate their honesty even if they have done something really wrong.it has worked alhamdulillah and they come to me and my husband and tell us everything

children lie because of fear or anything they love but they think parent wont let them have or due to judgement
